Reporting from Jericho
Katie had this for an assignment in Bible today:
Write a newspaper article from the perspective of a citizen of Jericho. Your article in the Jericho Journal should describe what has been happening outside of your city.
"There has been a suspition that someone has been walking around the walls of Jericho. Some of the citezens think they have been here for a few months. Some think they just got there, and some just don't believe it. Our city has been very silent for the last few days. Some people were even scared. Almost everyone was. Except Rahab, who seems casual as ever and is never seeming concerned."
(copied as is)
I'm laughing about Rahab seeming casual...only Katie...

That's a good one, Katie!
I also love the variety in the perspectives of the citizens. If only newspapers were so accurate in reporting, instead of taking one perspective and reporting it as fact.
That's great! Are you keeping a book handy somewhere to write down all these funnies? I have always loved reading all of my kids' writing assignments too. Lots of good chuckles.
